	J.P. Slidewell is local performer John Poole, who is well known around the area. If you prefer traditional songs, then tonight is a must for you! Unfortunately, John had transport problems, so couldn't be with us after all. We will re-schedule for later in the year.
8 May	Brian Rathmill Memorial Singaround Tonight we celebrate the life of Brian Rathmill, almost two years after he died. This time two years ago he was celebrating his retirement with us, so we are taking this opportunity to celebrate his life once more. Cath doesn't want this to be a miserable occasion, so LET'S PARTY!!

	It's that man again! Stanley often calls in to the Open Door to try out new material, or just pop in for a chat. Tonight he will have you rolling in the aisles one minute (okay, I know we don't have any aisles, but humour me!) and crying into your beer the next (well, you've got to give it some flavour!!). 	An evening of mayhem, madness and possibly even some serious stuff, too... our very own Bernard can have you in tears of laughter one minute, and tears of sadness the next... not only is he a virtuoso performer on guitar, accordion and many other instruments, but he is a fine singer as well. Come and find out for yourself.
